The performed tests and measured values show that
the influence of a different production technology
on mechanical properties of testing rubber samples
is minimal. In spite of that the pressed bodies show
maximum breaking strain of about 19 MPa in case
of elongation of 515%. This can be caused by
different remolding of the given compound inside
the mold. When injecting molding, the material fills
the content of the cavity unidirectionally, and thus it
is exposed to higher shear rate and deformations,
particularly in short multi-directional flow. The
subject of the following research will be verifying
another mechanical property such as the tear
strength and applying the tests on other suitable
rubber compounds.
