They may crosscontaminate
raw and processed products, ready-to-eat (RTE)
foodstuffs and therefore they may introduce food-borne pathogens
such as hepatitis A virus, noroviruses, Salmonella, Staphylococcus
aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, Escherichia coli O157H7 or
Campylobacter jejuni into the food chain
