In March 2014, Tilleke & Gibbins, the law firm who assists the trademark registration in many countries, had informed that the Korean Intellectual Property Tribunal (KIPT) has rendered a decision to dismiss our appeal about the registration of “Hi plus” trademark.
This was because the registrar considers that our “Hi plus” trademark is phonetically and conceptually identical to the prior cited mark (High Plus in Korean transliteration).
According to the Thai lawyer who has been coordinating with the Korean lawyer, our chance for appealing the current application is very low.
