Solid sample that melt at elevated temperature
The sample is carefully melted on a water bath and
then weighed in into the reaction vessel.
Note! Special care has to be taken that the
temperature of the water bath is only slightly above
the melting point of the sample. Otherwise
irreversible changes can happen to the sample.
The sample amount has to be chosen in a way that
the gas inlet tube is immersed in the sample when
the sample is melted.
