3 ResultsSlight deviations were observed between analyzed and formulated CP and AA in the feeds. Growth performance andcarcass yields are shown in Tables 5–7. There were no statistical differences between time blocks for any of the variablesstudied (P>0.05).Cumulative mortality was 1.15% at 21 d and 2.74% at 42 d, but no differences among treatments were detected (datanot shown) (P>0.01). Growth performance data from 1 to 21 d of age are shown in Table 5 presenting differences amongtreatments for all responses (P<0.01). Broilers fed PRG 1 had the lowest BWG than the other 3 PRG and highest FCR thanbroilers fed PRG 2 and 3, but no difference, however, existed when compared to PRG 4. Feed intake was lower for PRG 2when compared to PRG 4, but without difference when compared to PRG 1 and 3.Effects of treatments in the period of 1 to 21 d on growth performance results obtained in the following period (22 to 42d), in the cumulative response (1 to 42 d) as well as the interaction between the two periods are presented in Table 6. Therewere no significative interactions (P>0.05) between the two periods regardless of the period or responses measured
