he issue of drug abuse among teens has triggered perpetual debates all over the world. The United States in particular has had its fair share of the problem. The issue has been so big that it has evoked establishment of social policies to counter it from within the federal government. Various governments have come up with strategies and course of actions to defeat the problem, but for many years now the problem has been haunting the strongest country on the planet. The question that linger is; why does an obvious issue such as drug abuse continue to disturb generation after generation of teens? This paper will analyze the details of a policy established to fight against drug abuse among the teens in the United States. It will explore different literatures and answer the objective questions.
