Chapter 15 Dr. Kemp's Visitor.
Dr. Kemp heard the gunshots and saw the crowd outside the Happy Cricketers
Inn. After a while his door bell rang, but according to the servant there was no one at
the door. When he finished his work at two o'clock in the morning, he prepared to
go to bed however as he crossed the hall, he saw a dark spot on the floor. It looked
like blood. There was also blood on the door handle and the bed. Then the Invisible
Man spoke to him and told him that he was actually a former fellow student called
Griffin- Griffin asked for clothes and food and partly explained what had happened
to him. When the Invisible Man went to sleep, Dr Kemp wrote a note to Colonel
Adye because after reading the reports on the newspapers he was afraid of what his
guest might do.
