Many researchers have reported work on image processing techniques like, in [2], a method is reported for contrast improvement of typhoon cloud images by using a normalized arc tangent transformation and differential evolution algorithm. An image segmentation technique is discussed in [3] to check the ripe tomatoes using K-means clustering algorithm. Human ear detection by edge detection and template matching approach is reported in [4] for biometric application. In [5], measurement of distance between two objects on an oblique plane is reported using image based frame work.
