Milk replacement
MPC can be used as a replacer for WMP and SMP on an equivalent protein or milk solids nonfat basis, helping to formulate products with higher protein and low lactose and similar mineral profile as milk. Lactose-free fermented milks can also be produced using MPC (Szigeti and others 2006).
