Dear Khun Sommai,
Thank you for your review and comment, let me respond
1. We would prefer the feeler gauge option as it is more practical at site and using plastic gauge due to lifting facility.
2. There might be several factors of the high vibration, let us tackle the problem in step per practicality at site, Tightening/loosening the some bolts had significantly impact on the vibration.
As the time is also limited, would like to do it as most effectively as possible.
In case of more complicated problem as you mentioned, we will go in the next step.
We can bring the thermographic camera along but not sure how much we can access the NDE bearing housing as the fan cover might be obstacle to the housing surface.
Note: This should be our additional information, we should not make any statement to the customer that we are in doubt of the dimension and tolerance of the bearing housing.
We did measurement and check with factory data, they are within the standard.
3. Our aim is to HELP the customer bring the vibration down to the level within standard ie. 4.5 mm/s...rms..All the parties will accept that.
I will send this procedure to EBARA this morning.
Any minor adjustment at site can be communicated to the customer
Please also be emphasized that Siemens is only support to EBARA, not perform the checking/correction..only witness, vibration measurement, and give any advice that we may have.
We then make arrange for the date of the site work, and of course will shift the date from the previously to Next Friday or Saturday.
Let me know you have any question, comment or suggestion.
Thank you very much for your support.
Best Regards,
Jittakorn Thiticharoenpong
