Another attractive alternative is the use of flours prepared from agricultural crops, which are natural complex blends of starch, protein, and lipids developed biodegradable films from sorghum flour and used amaranth flour used blue corn flour and more recently used rice flour and used flour from plantain bananas as the raw materials for producing biodegradable films.
