Mode choice/modal shift modelling Using 1211 RP observations, a traditional mode choice model is developed to investigate commuting work trip mode choice in the study area. The data used for model estimation includes socio-demographic characteristics of travellers (e.g.age, gender, etc.) as well as basic modal level-of-service attributes of the available alternatives (e.g. travel cost, travel time, etc.), with no behavioural factors included in the model.
