An autoclave is a device used to sterilize equipment and supplies by subjecting them to high pressure saturated steam at 120-130°C for around 15-30 minutes depending on the size of the load and the contents. In our process at this step autoclaving is required for both the perfect cell degradation that means carbohydrate cell coming out form the spirulina cell and for assisting the acid hydrolysis process. We complete the process in the laboratory of Department of Microbiology, university of Dhaka. Three samples are made according to the autoclaving time 15 min, 20 min, and 25 min at 1250 C. The pressure of the autoclave was 15 psi.
