E-Learning
E-learning is the T&D delivery system for online instruction. It takes advantage of the speed, memory, and data-manipulation capabilities of the computer for greater flexibility of instruction. It is often the most convenient delivery format for adult learners A basic benefit is that it is self-paced and individualized and can be done while at work or off-shift. The concept can be repeated as often as needed. Help screens can also be included in the program to give additional explanation for those who need it. In a computer lab, participants can be working on different parts of a program, at varying speeds, and in different languages.
