At the beginning of measurement, the effective test sectors are
determined according to the results obtained from the test-site
calibration. The data acquisition tasks are automatically done in
the four acquisition units which capture synchronously all continuous
data files which then are transmitted into the local host PC by
CAN bus. The steps of data processing are designed strictly in
accordance with IEC-61400-13 and follow the flowchart shown in
the middle of Fig. 1. In order to ensure the accurateness of collected
data, the captured data is calibrated at first. To ensure the effectiveness
of capture matrix, before filling the capture matrix the
data sets are verified and corrected thus to exclude any erroneous
recordings. Via the rain flow counting algorithm, the load spectra
and the corresponding equivalent load spectra are calculated.
Finally the fatigue life of WT component is analyzed and predicted.
