In summary, the findings show a co-responsibility for current barriers of attracting and
integrating persons with disabilities to be shared by the participating hotels and
employment agencies. Aside from the wide range of general and industry-specific
challenges that might hinder a shift towards more proactive employment practices, most
HR directors identified a number of benefits people with disabilities could bring to the
organisation ranging from an untapped labour pool, loyalty and dedication, and hard
working to good PR within the local community.
