TGA for BW feedstock was performed via a simultaneous Thermogravimetry &
Differential Thermal Analysis analyzer (TG/DTA, Diamond, PerkinElmer
Instruments). In order to maintain an anoxic atmosphere for BW pyrolysis, Argon
with a flow rate of 100 ml/min was used as sweeping gas. 5-10mg BW powder was
5
put in -Al2O3 crucibles. Then, BW sample was heated according to follow
procedures: (1) Firstly, samples were heated from room temperature to 105oC in
heating rate of 10 oC/min; (2) Secondly, once the temperature reached 105oC, samples
were maintained at this temperature point for 10min to eliminate adsorptive water; (3)
Finally, samples were sequentially heated from 105oC to 700 oC in heating rates of 20,
30 and 40oC/min, respectively. Thermogravimetry (TG) data (%) was recorded every
one integer unit temperature (step-size of 1oC) by using assorted software of TG/DTA
