This mod introduces electricity to Don't Starve, without (wanting to) ignore its amazing feel of uncertainity and artistic developement.
If you install and enable Tomes of Knowledge, you get a guide which magically scientifically expands with the content. It should give you the idea, and is highly recommended.
This mod is compatible with DS base and DS RoG. This mod also includes minor World Generation stuff. DST support is unlikely as it stands, but if you want to try and help, please feel free to do so!
RIght now, you can install four different modules, each brings a different branch of technology.
BASE brings electricity itself. This is the core mod, you need to install it.
CRAFTWORKS allows advanced crafting.
UTILITY is tool- and survival-orientated.
MILITARY brings weapons, armour and miscellanious combat entities.
Robotics is not functional yet and shouldn't be used.
This mod has mod support for Hack the Planet (options for electricitiy), Tomes of Knowledge (guide book) and Steam Biome (metal plates can be crafted in IRC, etc.). It also probably supports modded coal, batteries, etc. already. If you want to see more cross-mod, tell me please!
