Fengwen Yu et al. [3] investigated the pyrolysis of soybean oilover Me-Al-MCM-41 (Me = La, Ni or Fe) mesoporous catalysts. The experiments were carried out in a tubular reactor at 450◦C. Thepyrolysis products were submitted to distillation and classifiedinto green gasoline (T ≤ 50◦C), green diesel (50◦C < T < 150◦C); andTar (T ≥ 150◦C) under vacuum of 100 Pa. The liquid products wereanalyzed by GC–MS. The catalyst Ni-Al-MCM-41 showed the bestperformance yielding 57.9% (w/w) bio-fuel, with 9.1% (w/w) greengasoline and 48.8% (w/w) green diesel, respectively.
