It was raining hard outside. You could hear the wind howling outside while the thunder rumbled menacingly. The clouds were gray and gloomy. It was a thunderstorm.
There was a loud booming thunder and then lightning appeared. You stared at it with little interest, wondering why it was so chaotic at this disastrous day. Raizel had gone missing without a trace and everyone was in uproar. The Lord has ordered that everyone find him, but no such luck. No one could find him.
You didn’t budge when you heard the door creak open. Slow heavy footsteps approached your sitting form. It stopped a few feet from you. His form was reflected from the glass window, his expression hidden by his bangs. You blinked curiously at him, shifting a bit to finally face him.
“Frankenstein?” You called, worry laced in your tone.
The man didn’t answer and simply gazed at you with an unreadable expression on his face. This worried you even more. You stood up from your seat and reached up a hand on his way. However, he gripped your hand before you could even touch him.
“I’m leaving.”
You did not say anything as you waited for him to explain, but he didn’t say anything. It was then that your eyes suddenly grew wide, realization hitting you. He was going to look for Raizel.
“I’ll wait for you then,” you finally said, your voice quiet and forlorn.
You wrapped your arms around him, knowing fully well that this would probably be the last time you could have him in your arms. He placed a soft kiss on your forehead.
“We’ll meet again,” he whispered.
“This I promise.”
It was a deep gamble.

820 years later…
The view before you is tremendously beautiful and inviting. You eye it with genuine interest as you step foot on the school grounds. Ye Ran high school is known for having great facilities. Compared to other private schools, it is a rather affordable school.
Three tall men stand ten feet from you and you can barely contain the smile on your face as one of them – the man with silver hair – gives you a cautious look. You can feel the odd aura surrounding them.
Modified humans, hm...
“You must be the new school doctor,” the one with the long hair says once you are standing in front of them. He has a small smile on his face to which you gladly return.
“Yes I am. It is nice to meet you, you may call me Viviette Soo,” you introduce yourself with a bow. They bow as well.
“The boss has been expecting you.” This time, it is the man with black hair who speaks. “I’ll take you to his office.”
“That would be much appreciated, thank you.”
He smiles at you then gives his other companions a nod before they resume their patrols. The man with silver hair, however, gives you one stern look. You merely smile innocently at him before he scoffs and finally leaves.
“Ah, sorry about that.”
You look back at the man with black hair.
“Don’t mind him. He’s actually a nice person. Oh and you can call me Tao.”
You hum as a response, following him silently as he beckons for you to follow. The hallways are clean and inviting once they are inside. You can hear low murmurs from all over as classes are held. The aura all in all is warm and safe.
Tao suddenly stops in front of a door that differs from the other doors in the building. He knocks on the door twice.
“Hey, boss. I’ve brought Ms. Soo.”
A soft ‘Come in’ sounds from the other side of the room. Tao faces you once again.
“Well then. I’ll see you around, I guess?”
“Of course. Thank you for taking me here.”
He nods at you with a smile and leaves you, reporting something through his headset. You then face the door once again and holds the doorknob. Twisting it, you push the door open and take a step inside.
“Welcome to Ye Ran High School, Ms. Soo.”
