For several applications, highly sensitive interferometers operating in the near infrared (NIR) range are required. In order to obtain an OASLM able to operate at these wavelengths, we investigate the feasibility of achieving such a component by using a III-V semiconductor as a photoconductive layer. After presenting the device and its optical response, we study how the OASLM can be inserted in an AHI setup and the features of the system for optical fiber sensing.
