YouTube and Marketing
There are two aspects to marketing through YouTube: promotion of content through YouTube; and advertising next to content on YouTube. YouTube offers Brand Channels. Brands can customise their own channel on YouTube, from backgrounds and logos, through to playlists and additional community features. Some notable brand channels include www.youtube.com/Sienna, created to promote Toyota’s Sienna Minivan. Organisations and brands can further promote their own content on YouTube using YouTube’s Promote Your Video.
