Act first, think later
Writing something about myself here? I wonder why that's mandatory but if that's what it takes... I'll play along!
I'm incredibly ugly (please report to the picture), small, soft, poor, impolite, nonsocial, sweat like a pig 24 hours a day and only take shower when it rains outside. I wouldn't stink that much if only I had the chance of wearing some clean clothes from time to time but I unfortunately cannot afford it, nor can I afford of laundrying the one and only set of clothes in my possession. As a consequence, I wear the same thing every single day no matter the weather or the situation.
SERIOUSLY NOW! I just find self-description to be totally worthless, especially in such websites, as people tend to embellish reality with words instead of being fully honest about who they trully are. Have you ever met anybody interested in finding a serious relationship bragging about their repulsive downside first-hand? Personally, I always discovered each and every one of what I believe to be a downside, in my vision of life, AFTER I got to know those person... and I absolutely don't believe in coincidence!
Therefore, I've decided to take a different path: letting people talk and get to know me so they can start building their own vision of who I am with their own vision of life, without me leading them into thinking this or that about anything.
DO NOT FORGET: in our lives, each aspect of what makes us who we are is relative!
- While some will be attracted to you, you'll be repulsive to someone else.
- While some will find you interesting, you'll bore someone else.
- While some will think you talk too much, someone else will never get enough of your talking.
- While some will find your temper to be way too strong, you'll eventually bump into someone with a much stronger one.
And I could go on, and on, and on...
So why should I enforce the view I have of myself, knowing it may end up being totally different than the one you'll have of me? Which will probably turn out to be the exact opposite of a third party's?
Saying something is cool... proving it is better! :)
