money on buying stoves, rather than constructing their own.

than their rural counterparts, so they may be in a better position
to spread initial capital costs of buying a new stove.
The production, dissemination and marketing of improved
stoves are also easier in urban areas due to the existence of more
specialized skills, greater population density, and better communications
and marketing infrastructure.
