The test paper was prepared for study. Then, the participants
were requested to take the test in a group at the same time at
the end of the first semester. After that, the papers were marked
scores. One score was given for a correct answer. No score was
given for an incorrect one. The sums of the scores were
calculated to find mean, percentage and present in the score
sheet as shown in Table 3.3. If the average score was higher than
80%, the student’ vocabulary knowledge was interpreted as they
had enough vocabulary size at a 2000 word level. If the average
score were lower than 80 % the student’ vocabulary knowledge
was interpreted as they had not enough vocabulary size at a 2000
word level.
