Hyperlipidemia is one of the most important cardiovascular risk factors, associated to the development of several diseases such as
atherosclerosis [1], coronary heart disease (CHD) [2], cerebrovascular
ischemia and peripheral vascular disease [3].
Although the incidence of events related to cardiovascular disease is
