The concentration of the alloying element before SPD can
be raised even to the supersaturated level via a solution heattreatment
and subsequent quenching which further increases the
mechanical strength [9]. However, it was also revealed that the
increase of the strength in SPD-processed ultrafine-grained (UFG)
materials is accompanied by a reduction of the tensile ductility
due to the loss of strain hardening capacity of the samples [10].
