Abstract
The purposes of this research were to 1) compare the learning achievements in
science, 2) compare the scientific attitude, and 3) compare the correlation between achievements
in science and scientific attitude of Prathomsuksa 6 Students before and after using CIPPA model
with questioning techniques. The research population comprosed 30 Prathomsuksa 6 students
who were studying in semester 1 of the academic year 2008 at Wat kaowong School. The
research design was one group pretest and posttest. The instruments used in the study included
1) seven lesson plans using CIPPA model with questioning techniques, 2) two copies of parallel
learning achievements test, one for pretest and another for posttest, each of which consisted of 40
four -multiple-choice questions with the reliability of 0.94 and 0.86 respectively, and 3) the
scientific attitude test comprising 36 five-rating-scale items inclusively in positive and negative
directions with the discrimination power of 4.04 and the reliability of 0.93 respectively.
Statistics used for data analysis were mean standard diviation.
The research findings were as follows.
1) The students' learning achievements in science after learning through CIPPA model
with questioning techniques were higher than their prior ones.
2) The students' scientific attitude was at a good level.
