shows MS spectra of gases collected from the
PVC/CaO/Ni(OH)2 samples mixed at varying molar ratios ((1:3:0),
(1:3:0.1), (1:3:0.5), (1:3:1), (1:3:2)) and milled for 60 min at
700 rpm. High intensity H2 peaks were clearly observed between
400 and 550 ◦C, separated from CO and CO2 peaks that occur after
550 ◦C. It was also observed that Ni(OH)2 addition as low as (1:3:0.1)
was sufficient to generate H2 from PVC.
