The purpose and objective of this project,mentioned in Sec. 1.2, are generally achieved. The selection of the
evaluation board is proved to be a success. The F28335 DSP facilitates and accelerates the design work a lot.
In this project, only a third of the processor power is utilized. For the interface board part, the digital signal
interfaces, such as PWM and incremental encoder, work satisfactorily. However, the ADC conditioning
circuit doesn’t show pleasant performance as it adds a lot of noises to themeasured signals. But this problem
was solved eventually by using simple voltage dividers instead of the original ADC conditioning circuit.
For the vector control design, no difficulty was met in the stage of simulation. After replacing the ADC
conditioning circuit with voltage dividers, the control system was also implemented on the DSP. The vector
control system on the DSP manages to regulate the dq currents and the speed fast and accurately.
