Louis Pearlman was born in the USA. He created’ N Sync and the Backstreet Boys, two boy bands who collectively have sold over 30 million CDs worldwide. Pearlman’s bands have been topping the charts since the 1980s. Before he created a recording label, Pearlman owned a transportation company that leased airplanes. He realized that he could make a fortune in pop music when he leased a private jet to a boy band.
