In this paper, the proposed ACSA is efficiently and
effectively minimizing the total generation production
cost in an ED problem. ACSA total cost over the 24
hour time horizon is less expensive than conventional
Lambda and GA on the ‘IEEE 30 bus system.
Furthermore, ACSA can be applied to solve the
economic dispatch problem with nonlinear cost function and also consider the additional constraints such as
. .. power .flow in transmission lines. The effectiveness of
ACSA for solving ED probtem for combined heat and
power (CHP) generation wil1 be investigated in the
future research work.
