In recent years, with the excessive consumption of conventional energy, the contradiction between supplication and demand and the irrational structure of China's energy as well as the environmental pollution have become increasingly apparent. It has become the key to sustainable development to reduce the consumption of traditional energy and to enhance the development and utilization of renewable energy. Therefore, China has begun to enhance the development and investment on new clean energy and renewable energy. Wind energy is an inexhaustible supply of renewable energy and it has no pollution. To do great efforts to develop wind energy resources is also considered to be a very effective measure to protect the environment which causes more and more attention. In China, the development of wind energy has become an effective way to alleviate the shortage of energy and curb the environmental degradation. As an important follow-up energy source, wind power shows a good prospect for development. Because of the pollution-free, short construction cycle, investment flexibility and small footprint, wind power has good social and environmental benefit. Previously, our country did not make use of the wind energy. It not only wasted a valuable resource, but also had a bad impact on the ecological environment. First, this article analyzes the development situation and trend of China's wind power. Then, using the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation mathematical principle to evaluate the benefit of wind power generation, including the economic benefit, social benefit and environmental benefit. The result proves that the social and environmental benefit of wind power is very good and the comprehensive benefit is good. Finally, draw the conclusion that the use of wind energy has a good prospect for development. China should strengthen the use of wind energy and it will bring great benefit. It can not only help protect the environment, but also ensure th- sustainable development of national energy.
