Kay’s work responds to the environment for which it is intended. The concept or narrative is evolved from place and recurring themes are found in observing detail and pattern within nature and architecture. Her work is tactile and sensory, and is defined by colour, texture and ambitious scale.
Recently, she has started to undertake private commissions for interiors and gardens including bespoke tiled kitchens and bathrooms, fireplaces, wall features, seating, flooring, steps and stained glass panels.
