PVA/PLLA nanofibrous hybrid yarns similar to any semi-crystalline polymer have an amorphous phase with randomly arranged macromolecules and a crystalline phase with a regular structure. As shown in Table 2 for the unloaded and the AgNP-loaded hybrid yarn samples, the glass transition temperature shifted slightly to higher temperatures and it's not significant. The endothermic peak during the heating stage of unloaded nanofibrous hybrid yarn is centered at about 178 °C, which was attributed to the melting of the crystalline phase. By adding silver nitrate to the solution, the melting temperatures (Tm) did not change significantly compared to the unloaded hybrid yarn sample.
