Growth rate over the four
weeks of both species was inversely related to stocking density at both
temperature regimes (Fig. 1). The average growth rate for Chondrus
at 0.2 kg m−2 stocking density was 4.0% d−1 at 6 °C and 6.1% d−1 at
13 °C, whereas at 10 kg m−2 it was b0.5% d−1 (Fig. 1).
