OT-CC 4.0 INDICATIONS
4.1 Long-term oxygen therapy(LTOT in the home or alternate site health care facility is normally indicated for the treatment of hypoxemia LTOT has been shown to significantly improve survival in hypoxemic patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) LTOT has been shown to reduce hospitalizations and lengths of stay.
