To think Apple was soaring at this point under Steve's leadership with the iPod and iTunes as well as all the great Mac stuff.
But over the next couple of years Apple would launch (amongst other things) the iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air. Each one a paradigm shift in their fields. This blows my mind.
To put the iPhone into perspective, I had bought a Nokia E90 shortly before the launch of the iPhone because I needed a phone with proper Email, go Google Nokia E90 which was probably the most advanced smartphone before the iPhone launched and just see how different the two are. Despite only owning the E90 for a couple of months I immediately bought an iPhone, it was an epiphany.
The MacBook Air single-handedly created the Netbook/Ultra-thin laptop market. Boom.
People didn't know they wanted or needed an iPad until it was launched. Again, single handedly creating the Tablet computing industry.
Awe-inspiring.
