The amounts of Ag loaded were 1.0 wt.% to the TiO2 amount. 5 g amount of TiO2 was dispersed into 500 ml of AgNO3 solution. In the photoreduction of Ag onto the TiO2 methanol was added as a sacrificial donor TiO2 oxalic acid played that role (at a molar ratio oxalic acid:Ag = 25:1). The pH value of the suspensions was 1.7 in noble metal deposition on TiO2. At this pH value, the zeta potential of TiO2 was positive, it was easy to adsorb [Ag(C2O4)] anions from the solution. The reaction system was stirred at room temperature for at least 90 minute with a nitrogen flow of 0.2 bar bubbling through it to remove the dissolved oxygen from the solution. the photodeposition reactor was irradiated by UV-C (λMax = 254 nm) lamp for about 3 h with continuous stirring and nitrogen sparging. By changing the color of the solution from white to brown is well understood Ag+ reduced to Ag0 and consequently Ag was doped successfully on TiO2-P25. In the following, the precipitate through several stages is separated by centrifuge and then washed with distilled water. Then it dried for 12 hours at a temperature 120 °C in the oven
