Participants explained that they found the integration process "very traumatic" and "confusing", and stated that
they had often felt "angry", "annoyed", "powerless", "frustrated" and "lacking in motivation" as a direct result of
the process of integration. A number of people believed that the service should minimise these negative
consequences by altering its leadership structure to provide balanced strategic direction to the service,
recognising the qualities that both acute and community cultures bring to an integrated service model
