Interfacial behaviorsofmagnesiapartiallystabilizedzirconia(MgO-PSZ)ceramicbynickel-basedsu-
peralloywereinvestigated.Andtheeffectofzirconiareductiononinterfacialbehaviorswasconsidered.
The contactanglebecamestableat1390 °C andwaslargerthan90° during thecontinuoustemperature
rise, andtheequilibriumcontactanglewas92°. TheinterfacialreactionbetweenMgO-PSZceramicand
nickel-based superalloyoccurredathightemperature.TheZrO2 wasreducedtosuboxide(ZrO2x), and
the lossofoxygenledtotheformationofAl2O3. Theinterfacialreactionwasinfluenced bythereduction
of ZrO2. ThedestabilizationofMgO-PSZceramicwascausedbythepresenceofAl2O3
