Because equipment has never been used for long time and also has never been periodic maintenance as per suppliers recommend. Therefore, equipment surly need to assessment, restoration, changing some parts and other necessary actions shall be performed for equipment in suitable condition before test.
Phase 1 report shall give you suggestion term of restoration cost, restoration method and warrantee. If restoration cost is more than buying new one, equipment replacement choice might be suitable for your project.
Phase 2 on site equipment test
After your determine condition assessment in Phase 1, some equipment does not need restoration. There can be performed testing on site.
However, some equipment need to be restored before test. Owner shall also be accepted restoration cost (recommended in phase 1) to make equipment in suitable condition before test.
Moreover, some equipment shall be done on supplier factory but some equipment shall be done on site. But after restoration work finish supplier will issue warrantee to those equipment.
EquipmentTesting shall be performed after restoration stage.
