For hydride generation, 10 mL of sample was mixed with
10 mL of 6 M HCl and 1 mL of 20% KI (w/v) in plastic bottles.
After 60 min, solutions were poured into the reaction vessel
of the vapor generation accessory. After 25 s of mixing, one
pellet of NaBH4 (0.4 g) was dropped into the solution in the
reaction vessel, which was kept in a nitrogen atmosphere.
Absorption of the analyte atom generated was measured from
the peak height, as the hydride was sent into the hot quartz
tube.
