Procedure
1. Wash your hand before preparing the patron.
2. Apply cleansing cream to the face and neck. Use the same technique as for facials with upward circular movement. Cleanse above and below the eyes and remove all mascara.
3. Remove the cleansing cream.
4. Apply moisturizer base.
5. Shape the eye browns whenever possible. The high point of the arch should generally be toward the outer part of the eye browns.
6. Apply astringent to oily skin. Concentrate on the oily areas around the nose and forehead. Use skin freshener on dry or normal skin. Blot dry.
7. Apply liquid or cream base. A thin coating of base is applied with a disposable sponge. Create a soft satin look for day wear and glowing look for evening. The base is not for color, but is used to smooth the skin. The base color should harmonize with the color of the skin.
8. Test the color of the base on the person’s neck true blending effects. If the base blends to zero with the skin, it is correct.
9. Shadow and highlight the skin and facial features as needed. Use eye-shadow sticks, creamy base or pressed powder. To highlight, use any color lighter than the skin. To minimize, use any color darker than the skin.
10. Apply translucent powder with very little pigment in order to set the makeup.
