Children’s aggressive behavior is one of the most studied fields in developmental
psychology (Chen et al., 2011). In China, the research of childhood
aggression largely comes from the field of conduct disorder. A recent survey
of 9,123 Chinese children ages from 4 to 6 years showed that the prevalence
for externalizing problems was 9.2%, and the high scores in some aggression
scales were particularly alarming (Li et al., 2009). A number of different interventions
were used to treat Chinese aggressive children, such as sand-play
therapy, social skill training, Adlerian mutual storytelling therapy, and sensory
