People seem to be really indifferent to such services. Conducting medical monitoring alone may lead to a feeling that nothing has changed even after 3 to 6 months of measurements. They may think, ‘I measure my blood pressure every day and it always shows 120/80 mmHg. Then why should I measure this over and over again?’ (C1)
If the measurement reveals abnormal values, telenurses will ask certain questions and then pass on the phone to the doctor. . .Then what? The doctor basically asks questions based on the same standard procedures. Finally, what is the treatment? To call for an ambulance to [trans- port the patient to] the hospital or to visit a clinic some other day. . .Subsequently, despite spending heavily, I do not enjoy a better service. Instead I receive a worse service. (B7)
