Are Pop Stars Getting In On The Diss Track Game?
These rumors about Katy, 1D and Britney seem to indicate as much.

You know the songs. They may not necessarily call out someone directly, but they sure throw some shade. Diss tracks are the musical equivalent of a subtweet, and they last a longer too. And while diss tracks are more common in hip-hop (Eminem has a whole Wikipedia page just for his celebrity beefs), we’ve seen plenty of rumors about sketchy tunes in pop music just in 2015 alone.
Diss tracks give people scandal, and we slurp them up like spaghetti (remember all the hullabaloo about Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood,” supposedly about Katy Perry?). But it seems like when nobody is fighting, the media create fictional beef and ponder all the nasty songs celebs could write about each other. I know, it’s gross. But it’s controversy, and we’re hungry.
