Seventeen students applied for the course that started in September 2012 and ended in December 2012. Thirteen of them
were female students. This is in opposition to the point made by Shinnar et al. that female students are normally less likely to
engage in entrepreneurship courses compared to male students (Shinnar et al., 2010). On the other hand, there is an overweight
of female students generally at the Humanities in Denmark and at the center for International Business Communication,
where approximately 70 per cent of the students are female. So the percentage of female students in this course
corresponds with both the general gender balance of the students.
