Jigsaw and role-play were the other most popular activities. In jigsaw activities, cooperation is required to find the solution by means of fitting together the pieces of information students have (Klippel 1984). In role-plays, students were given a situation and expected to act according to the information provided about their roles (Klippel 1984).
