Military Briefing
Military diplomats from 25 countries attend a briefing session led by deputy Army chief-of-staff Lt-General Supakorn Sanguanchatsorakrai yesterday. In the briefing, Supakorn gave them information on the political situation in the Kingdom since the military seized power in May last year. He also explained why the government continues to maintain martial law and the reasons behind former PM Yingluck Shinawatra’s impeachment and pending indictment in relation to the rice-pledging scheme.
